La Zenia beach is the closest beach to Las Carolinas where you will find a beach bar and the hotel La Zenia, this hotel is located right on the beach front.
If you're feeling energetic, there is a coastal path that will take you to a lovely little cove called Cala Capitan (Captains Cove) and further walking will take you to Cabo Roig Marina.

Lo Pagan Mud Baths
A great novelty thing to do in Lo Pagan. Wooden jetty with steps down into the sea where you can scrape mud from the sea bed and lather yourself from top to toe like the locals do, as they believe the mud has curative-beneficial effects for rheumatical problems as well as arthritis, gout and rehabilitation after a bone fracture as well as many other aches and pains.

Cartagena City
The old town of Cartagena was constructed in 223 BC and was the great Hannibal's capital city. Rich and full of character there is plenty to explore from Belle Epoque architecture to memorials of the Spanish Civil War and the Port has plenty to see too with boat trips around the head land to enjoy.

Alicante City
Alicante is a port city on Spain’s southeastern Costa Blanca, and the capital of the Alicante province. Its old town, Barrio de la Santa Cruz, has narrow streets, colored houses and a nightlife scene. From here, an elevator or a steep climb leads to medieval Castillo de Santa Bárbara, set on a hilltop with sweeping views of the Mediterranean coast.
